Settled down at the Jukskei River on Monaghan Farm, House Partington is a new house that maximises both vistas of the river and the distinguished rolling hills of the highveld beyond. The house is a collection of large-volume barns gathered around a centralised family room barn which is both allayed and enriched by an internalised courtyard garden.
Each bedroom is arranged in order to benefit from the northern aspect and each is linked to the next by a private garden. Like oases, the gardens offer the barns respite from the dry heat during the day, and at night, the magical buzz of the highveld fauna.
